BAHAWALNAGAR:
A man was allegedly poisoned on Saturday by his cousin for honor in Mauza Qamar Din Chishti, Donga Bonga police claimed.
Barish Ali had arranged the marriage of his daughter with someone outside of the family. His cousin Amin said tis would bring dishonor to the family. He demanded Ali arrange the girls marriage with his son. Upon refusal, Amin lured Ali to the fields where he allegedly poisoned him and fled.
Some passersby spotted Ali in critical condition and informed his family. He was rushed to DHQ hospital where he died.
Police registered a case against the suspect on the complaint of the deceased's wife, Zainab Bibi
